The Do Good Podcast, hosted by Rob Watson, shares people's inspiring and uplifting stories from around the world.
There's so much good happening right now on the planet, which isn't getting nearly enough attention it deserves – we hope by sharing these people's stories it'll inspire listeners to go out there and show more of what they are made of and do their own bit of good in the world.
“Something that runs through a lot of the interviews that I’ve been doing, is that it seems there is a real purpose in what people are doing, it’s actually that deeper meaning, that call to be of service in some way that actually gives you the motivation and fuels your passion to keep doing what your doing.”
In-between most interviews Rob shares his own thoughts on the things that inspire him to become a better version of himself – these episodes act as the perfect companion to the wider more in-depth interviews. From ‘Carving time out for the things you love’ to ‘Never giving up on a good time’ there’s plenty of info in there to inspire you to get going with that idea you’ve been meaning to get off the ground.
“Can’t recommend this podcast enough to my friends and family. It warms your soul to hear the wonderful things happening all around us.”
About the host
Rob Watson has been 'Doing good work for nice people' for the best part of 15 years through Raw, the design company he co-founded back in 2006. A big part of the companies ethos has been working on projects that bring about positive social change, whether those be on big client projects for the likes of the NHS, or personal projects bringing a greater focus on factory farming.
In recent years Rob has been delving deeper into the nature of how we work, particularly questioning the traditional 9-5 model and the daily commute. This lead him to completely reimagine how he ran his company, saying goodbye to his full-time team and their business premises, downsizing the company right back to just himself and his wife, which they now run from their loft studio at home.
To hear more on the journey Rob's gone on take a look at this short talk he gave at Pecha Kucha, and he was recently on Ben Tallon's Arrest All Mimic Podcast taking all about how his life has unfolded the past few years.

In essence, taking the road less travelled has freed up a bunch of time to explore other passions and hobbies in his life. And that's where this podcast comes into play…
“In the times we live in, this podcast is a lovely slice of inspiring and uplifting stories and a reminder that doing good is a choice we’re all better off making.”
